WHITE BLACK LEGAL invites original, unpublished research papers, Short Notes, Book Reviews & Case Comments on a rolling basis. Authors are advised to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure smooth editorial screening and review.

Submission Guidliness

• The manuscript should be in MS Word format (.doc/.docx).
• The title of the manuscript should be clear, specific, and appropriate to the subject.
• The manuscript shall be original and unpublished and must not be under consideration with any other journal/platform.
• The submission should be free from plagiarism. Proper attribution and citation are mandatory.
• Full names of all the author(s), along with affiliation(s) and email ID(s), must be provided.
• Any uniform method for citation may be followed, but it must be consistent throughout the manuscript.
• The body of the manuscript shall be in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10, with single line spacing.
• A margin of 4 centimeters shall be left on all sides of the paper.
• Page borders shall not be used.
• Include an Abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 Keywords for indexing and discoverability.
• Use headings/sub-headings for clarity. Avoid excessive formatting and decorative fonts.

Theme

• Any appropriate theme related to socio-legal aspects is acceptable.
• Interdisciplinary research is encouraged (law with public policy, economics, sociology, technology, governance, etc.).
• Contemporary issues, doctrinal analysis, comparative perspectives, and policy-focused writing are welcome.

• Articles (3000-5000 words including footnotes)
• Short Notes (2000-3000 words including footnotes)
• Book Reviews (1000-2000 words including footnotes)
• Case Commentaries (1000-3000 words including footnotes).

Manuscript Structure

• Title (clear and specific)
• Abstract (150–250 words)
• Keywords (4–6)
• Main Text with proper headings/sub-headings
• Footnotes/Citations in a consistent format
• Author Details (Name, Affiliation, Email ID)

Originality & Plagiarism Policy

WHITE BLACK LEGAL follows a strict originality policy. Any form of plagiarism, improper paraphrasing, or unattributed reproduction of content may lead to rejection at the screening stage. Authors must ensure all sources are duly cited and referenced through footnotes.

Editorial Screening & Review

All submissions are first screened for scope, formatting compliance, and originality. Manuscripts that meet basic requirements may be taken forward for editorial/peer review as applicable. Decisions may be: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

• Submissions not following the above formatting requirements may be returned for correction or rejected during screening.
