Before Submission

Prepare the Manuscript Carefully

Following the requirements below helps reduce avoidable corrections during editorial screening.

General Requirements

  • The manuscript should be original, unpublished and not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere.
  • Submit the final readable manuscript in MS Word format unless the submission form states otherwise.
  • Use a clear title and logically organised headings/sub-headings.
  • Provide complete author name(s), affiliation, email address and contact details.
  • Co-authors should approve the final version before submission.

Formatting Requirements

  • Body: Times New Roman, size 12.
  • Line spacing: 1.5 for the main body.
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, size 10.
  • Footnote spacing: Single.
  • Use consistent margins and paragraph formatting.
  • Avoid decorative colours, page borders and unnecessary styling.

Recommended Manuscript Structure

  • Title of the manuscript.
  • Abstract of approximately 150–250 words, where applicable.
  • Four to six relevant keywords, where applicable.
  • Main text with appropriate headings and sub-headings.
  • Consistent footnotes/citations and references.
  • Author details and affiliation information.

Indicative Word Limits

  • Research Articles: 3,000–5,000 words including footnotes.
  • Short Notes: 2,000–3,000 words including footnotes.
  • Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words including footnotes.
  • Case Commentaries: 1,000–3,000 words including footnotes.

The editorial team may consider reasonable variations where appropriate.

Originality & Academic Integrity

Authors should submit only original work and must appropriately acknowledge all sources. Plagiarism, improper paraphrasing, fabricated references, duplicate submission or unattributed reproduction may result in rejection or other editorial action.

Editorial Screening & Review

Submissions may be screened for scope, completeness, formatting, originality and general editorial suitability before proceeding further. The editorial outcome may include acceptance, revision or rejection. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee publication.

Author Responsibility

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of facts, quotations, citations and references.
  • Third-party material should be used lawfully and with required permissions.
  • Authors should ensure that the manuscript does not infringe copyright or other rights.
  • All listed co-authors should have made a meaningful contribution and approved submission.
  • Potential conflicts relevant to the manuscript should be disclosed to the editorial team where applicable.
